Great quality, grip but they are tight around my 2 year olds ankles

Really love these I bought more. But I am concerned about how tight they are around my sons ankles. I guess they’re that way to stop them pulling them off? But at 2 years old they do not tend to do that anyhow so actually not sure how long we’ll continue using as worries too tight
